Al Hadar Headshot

Hey! I’m Al-Hadar Mumuni — a researcher and PhD candidate at Hamad Bin Khalifa University exploring how digital technologies shape the everyday work and productivity of low-income migrant workers in Qatar. My research focuses on the intersection of sociomateriality, digital labor, and intercultural communication, uncovering how human and technological practices are entangled in modern workplaces.

Beyond academia, I serve as an Employee Engagement Officer at Lusail Hospitality and Services, where I design initiatives that strengthen collaboration, recognition, and employee well-being across more than 1,800 staff. I’m also the founder of HAKWAYS, an NGO that empowers students through education and public speaking in Ghana.
When I’m not writing or running engagement programs, you’ll likely find me mentoring young debaters, curating dialogue events, or reading about human-AI collaboration.
